Your cash is NOT Trash – Glenn Reynolds: Cash is the currency of freedom

Cash has a lot of virtues. One of them is that it allows people to engage in voluntary transactions without the knowledge or permission of anyone else. Governments call this suspicious, but the rest of us call it something else: Freedom.

Freedom is being taken away bit by bit, so slowly you don’t even notice. Another person’s freedom taken away might not matter to you and by the time the piece of freedom you care about is taken away it will probably be too late. Wake up.
