You can’t make this stuff up: Pelosi: There’s No ‘Spending Problem’

With the sequester set to kick in on March 1, President Obama and his Democrat allies are hell-bent on shifting the conversation away from proper government cuts, and toward higher taxes. On Sunday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) took to Fox News Sunday to explain that America does not have a spending problem. “It is almost a false argument to say that we have a spending problem. We have a budget deficit problem,” Pelosi insisted.

Well I can agree with Nancy that we have a budget deficit problem, however tax increases are not the way to address the issue. Less involvement by government in our everyday lives and a growing economy are part of the solution. Tax increases do not address either of those issues and in fact work against them.

I guess for the general population that wants the government to step in and deal with every issue, their right. Color me no friend of these people.
