Driving into town on Highway 36 from the North this evening at about 5:15, there’s pretty much a constant stream of cars heading from Boulder North towards Lyons.
Near the old Beach Aircraft building there’s a huge peloton of cyclists, at places 3 – 4 cyclists wide heading North as well. There were numerous cyclists drifting across the white line impeding the flow of traffic.
The Sheriff should really stop hassling cyclists for not putting their foot down at a stop sign in Jamestown (see Jessica Yates letter to the editor) and worry about the recklessness on Highway 36. I guarantee that on a Saturday or Sunday morning they can have a field day writing tickets at the North Broadway, Hwy 36 intersection. It would save a lot more lives then worrying about a stop sign in Jamestown.
