Stimulus should be good for Boulder

According to the Mercatus Center,

The Mercatus Center analysis also found that Democratic congressional districts received on average almost double the funding of Republican congressional districts. Republican congressional districts received on average $232 million in stimulus funds while Democratic districts received $439 million on average.

So I have one simple question for Boulder or the State of whomever….

Why can’t you complete work on the stoplight at the intersection of Hwy 36 and North Broadway?

This project has been a work in progress for how many months? I’d say at least five. If the purpose of the stimulus is to create new jobs, then why don’t you hire some people to get the job done?

Admittedly it’s close to completion, but it appears the main goal is to have signs up advertising how great our government and Gov. Ritter are, not in completing the project.

Perhaps our local paper will enlighten us on how many jobs this project has created and why the project is not yet completed. What say Daily Camera?
