I recently heard a surprising story: A female CEO was briefed on a stellar candidate for a top job at her company. “Sounds ideal,” she said to the group in the room.
“Male or female?” Male was the answer. “Damn” was her audible response. The guy wasn’t even interviewed.
Why Are Men Silent
“This has been the coldest season with the most ice since we started Arctic Watch in 2000. Almost no whales. The NWPassage is still blocked with ice. Some of the bays still have not melted!”

And rather than follow the conventional path of indebting yourself for 13-years so that you can attend university for four, and then fork over the bulk of your pay to the government, instead focus on learning tangible, valuable skills overseas.

Gee whiz. If a conservative publication had said something like this during the Obama years, the flack they’d get, plus the threats of legal consequences if anyone followed this dubious advice!
BTW, on a completely different note, I looked up the quote by Voltaire you have in the sidebar. It doesn’t look like he said it. The article I read said it might actually have been uttered by a white supremacist. Seems to be a true notion, nonetheless, as so many of these types of internet memes are.

Hi Mark, Conservatives play by a different set of rules, or at least they have until Trump. Not sure if the conservative label fits him, but not playing by the rules sure does.
Thanks for the heads up on the Voltaire quote. I’ve seen it elsewhere attributed to someone where I knew it was incorrect. So apparently mine is as well. Oh well. I’ll do a little research and see if it can be linked to someone I care to be identified with. Otherwise I’ll make some changes on the website. It goes without saying, I’m not interested in supporting white supremacists, although I suppose it’s possible they could utter an intelligent phrase or two.
