I saw one of Terry Johnson’s children at the bookstore tonight. I spent about 20 minutes in conversation.
It was hard to manage my emotions. How proud I’m sure he was and how proud he should be today and how proud I’m sure his wife is today of all their children.
I’ll be removing the picture of Terry and Ada from the right column of this blog in the near future. There’s no doubt that he would, in general, not agree with the politics of this blog. Although all I wish to do is honor him, I’m sure that he would not necessarily want to be connected with the political viewpoints expressed here.
All that said, I want to thank Terry Johnson for my first “real” job.
