6/12/2009 10:50. Oh, and I should add that I’ve never been registered as a Republican. I am registered as non-affiliated so I can declare a party at the polling place. This allows me to vote in the Democratic primaries where most of the local races are decided anyway. Then I quickly switch back to non-affiliated.
