I’ve noticed a lot of hits from Seagate folks in Minneapolis, San Francisco and a few from Colorado.
Having worked in the disk drive industry I realize it’s a tough industry and although I’m not particularly sympathetic with Seagate top management and politics I certainly can understand how the day to day workerbees are feeling. I wish you the best of luck and if you are one of the unlucky ones I wish you the best of luck in your job search or in starting a business of your own.
I did have lunch with someone from Seagate last week and they told me the data was Feb 14th (I think). I would NOT put much faith in that date, but obviously something will happen soon.
