Well tomorrow, Western Disposal will pick up the recycling and composting trash carts. Last week, they exchanged my 96 gallon trash cart for a 32 gallon trash cart. This county mandated recycling/composting simply doesn’t fit in with how I create various types of trash.
The net result is some beanhead at the County thinks I create 64 gallons less of trash weekly and Western Disposal, even with the $10 fee is making less money on me.
I don’t disagree with charging for trash by volume, that in itself should be an incentive to recycle and/or compost. However, I vehemently disagree with the County micromanaging my life.
Vote out the present county commissar’s this November.
