Jeff Callahan must not get out much

According to this article on Boulder “pay as you go throw”, in the past you had to pay the trash hauler for recycling…

“Currently, if you want to recycle in the unincorporated county, you actually have to ask the hauler to provide that service and pay extra for that service,” Callahan said. “This way it’s all three services; waste, recycling and organics collection are all bundled in the trash disposal cost.”

Hey Jeff, I’ve been recycling for the past 20 years and haven’t paid the trash hauler a single penny for the privilege! Now I pay for the privilege of recycling that I don’t use.
