WASHINGTON — A House subcommittee on Wednesday rejected a Republican-led effort to open up more U.S. coastal waters to oil exploration.
Can’t get oil from shale, can’t get oil from offshore. Let’s continue to not only send our dollars overseas but to countries that don’t particularly like us.
You just can’t make this stuff up. Where are the oil companies supposed to reinvest their investment dollars for a good return? Perhaps stock by-backs and increasing dividends aren’t such bad ideas.
